Conference support system

The internet support system for conferences is a technical device that keeps record of contributions allowing them to be evaluated and published. All the operation and management of the system is carried out through secure access via the internet. The system is designed for a comprehensive management of contributions to conferences, from their initial login to the final publication.

The system grants access rights according to three types of users: author, reviewer and system administrator.

The system works with the following time line of the conference

  • Author: logs messages to the conference (title + notes)
  • Reviewer: initial assessment of the contributions and their acceptance or refusal.
  • System: informs the author of the assessment results
  • Author: sends the full text of the contribution
  • Reviewer: evaluates the contribution
  • Author: sends final version of the contribution
  • System: informs the author it received the final version
This functionality can be customised to simplify or skip steps.

The system is based on a combination of secure Internet access and communication via email. Everyone is kept informed about all the steps and procedures regarding the contributions via email.
